On 17 April 2012, the CEO and Chairman of Philippine based Century Properties Group (CPG), Mr. Jose E.B. Antonio visited Ambassador Ezzedin H. Tago accompanied by CPG’s top marketing officers and the chairman of CPG’s counterpart in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mohammed Abu Nayyan of the Mohammad Abu Nayyan Trading and Investment Company (Abu Nayyan Group).

Century Properties CEO and Chairman Jose Antonio briefed the Embassy on the of CPG, a leading real estate development company in the Philippines with over 25 years of excellent track record through realty projects such as South of Market at Fort Bonifacio, Soho Central in Mandaluyong City, the Canyon Ranch in Carmona, Cavite, and Essensa East Forbes in Fort Bonifacio.  The Abu Nayyan Group is a Saudi multi-line conglomerate involved in industrial manufacturing, agriculture, construction, and telecommunications. 

Led by its CEO and Chairman, the Century Properties Group came to Saudi Arabia to partner with Filipinos abroad and discuss with them how they could invest their savings in the Philippines, and inform them of the several options available in the market, especially residential units offered by CPG.

CPG stressed their commitment to educating overseas Filipinos in financial management and in wise investment, and signified their willingness to volunteer for financial literacy seminars to benefit Filipinos in the Kingdom.    Century Properties is establishing an office in Riyadh in partnership with the Abu Nayyan Group, so clients could have direct links with them.  

The Embassy welcomed the new partnership between Century Properties and Abu Nayyan Group as the Embassy is promoting stronger trade and investment relations between the two countries.  “ I hope that this partnership will help jumpstart a more robust trade and investments relations between the two countries,” Ambassador Tago said.

Ambassador Tago added that the Embassy is also promoting the Philippines as a tourist destination and invites foreign investors to invest in tourism infrastructure projects.   Both Mr. Antonio and Mr. Abunayyan were very positive of the prospects in trade, investments and tourism sectors in the Philippines.
