Press Release 039-2012

27 February 2012  -  On 22 February 2012, Philippine Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mr. Ezzedin Tago called on the Emir of Riyadh, HRH Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. Second Secretary Roussel Reyes accompanied him to the meeting.

HRH Prince Sattam welcomed Ambassador Tago and thanked him for the visit. Ambassador Tago congratulated His Royal Highness on his appointment as the Emir of Riyadh Region. Ambassador Tago added that while Riyadh is a world-class modern city, under his leadership and that of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques it is certain that it would continue to experience prosperity and development.

Ambassador Tago expressed his gratitude for the continued hospitality and excellent treatment accorded to Filipinos in Riyadh Region and the Kingdom in general.  HRH Prince Sattam noted the important role that Filipinos in the Kingdom play, and their significant contributions to the economy.
